OEI After TDP CAT-A Clear Area

Answer 1

Continue acceleration - Nose +7,5,
Use collective to keep NR close to 93%,
Accelerate to Vtoss
At Vtoss, ajust nose attitude to keep Vtoss,
Climb with Vtoss to 200ft ATS using 2.5min PWR and recover NR to 101%,
At 200ft ATS accelerate - Nose 2, 5- to Vy with 101% NR,
At Vy adjust nose to 5 keep Vy,
Climb to 1000ft ATS with Vy and reduce to OEI MCP (140%) when convinient.
At 500ft ATS; Check for signs of fire.

OEI After TDP Ground and elevated Heliport/deck

Answer 2

Rotate -15° absolute,
Airspeed indication starts to increase/alive,
Adjust collective to maintain NR close to 93%,
Nose up to 0° for 1 second,
Nose up to +5° and maintain to accelerate to Vtoss,
At Vtoss, adjust nose attitude to keep Vtoss,
Reduce collective to recover NR to 101%,
Climb to 200ft ATS with 2.5min OEI Rating,
At 200ft ATS accelerate to Vy using 101% Nr,
At Vy, adjust nose attitude to keep Vy,
Climb to 1000ft ATS with Vy and reduce to OEI MCP (140%) when convinient.
At 500ft ATS; Check for signs of fire.

Reduce collective to recover NR to 101%,
Continue climb to 200ft ATS with Vtoss & 101% NR,
At 200ft ATS accelerate to Vy with 101% NR,
At VY adjust nose attitude to keep Vy,
Climb to 1000ft ATS with Vy and reduce to OEI MCP (140%) when convinient.
