Q
How do we breathe
A
Air enters our body through the mouth or nose.
The air then follows the windpipe, which splits into two bronchi, one for each lung.
The bronchi then split into smaller and smaller tubes that have tiny air sacs at their end called alveoli.
Oxygen passes from these air sacs into the blood, which carries it to all the cells in the body.
Carbon dioxide from the blood passes into the alveoli and is exhaled out of the body through the mouth or nose.
