Define housing.
Housing is a structure or building used to protect people from the elements of weather.
What can housing be used for?
Housing can be used for interaction, security and rest.
What are the different categories of housing?
Formal, Informal, Permanent, and Temporary, Governments developed and privately developed.
What is formal housing?
Housing that is built with the permission of the government.
What is informal housing?
Housing that is built without permission from the government, which makes it illegal.
What is permanent housing?
Permanent housing is the most common type of housing and can be found in both rural and urban areas, its usually long-term housing.
What is temporary housing?
Temporary housing is less common and can usually be found either in very rural areas or in cities ( houses in empty rural areas or for disaster reliefs).
What is Government developed housing?
It is public housing.
What is privately developed housing?
Privately developed housing formal and informal housing built by individuals. It is formal housing can also be built by private companies.
How tall are buildings considered to be high-rise and high-density housing?
