House Cocktails One Liners (UPDATED 6/26) Flashcards
French Martini
Refreshing, tropical sour. This is our take on a French Martini. Instead of Chambord, we infuse the vodka with raspberries. We also add pineapple two ways; pineapple juice and a spiced Pineapple Amaro.
Deux Chat Martini
Crisp, savory, and vegetal, our martini is the perfect pairing for any one of menu items.
Strawberry Shandy
A sessionable, strawberry shandy (Low ABV) We use strawberries in a homemade brine & shrub. A bitter, light crushable sipper. We add Lampyres Rose to add a bit of depth and viscousity.
Rue Saint Anne Highball
Stone fruit, creamy, chocolate, bright highball. Verjus is an unripe highly acidic grape juice; a way to add acid without using juice. We fat wash Iwai with cocoa butter and top with Tost, a non-alcoholic spiced white tea
Away Colors
The key ingredient to this drink is the clarified passionfruit juice, where passionfruits are put through a whole fruit juicer and then filtered through cloth to give an amazingly aromatic liquid.
We fat wash the Montenegro with roasted peanut oil. This reads as a light drink, but is definitely a spirit forward sipper.
Battle of Puebla
A fruity mezcal margarita, served up. We use mezcal and hibiscus two ways; Hibiscus in the form of Lo Fi Gentian Amaro & a salted hibiscus syrup. The salt and pepper rim adds another savory component.
Domino Park Cooler
Tropical, nutty, slightly creamyy. We make a coconut and lime cordial and blend it with together a homemade Cantaloupe Sherbet. The Branca Menta adds brightness and a nice contrast to the nutty sherry and bourbon.
Rhu-Barbara
Rhubarb is a quintessential British ingredient, and is loved for its fruity tartness, particularly in desserts.
Clarified milk punches are a very old method of preservation; the citrus and milk react and curdle, which once filtered leaves a clean, clear liquid which retains a creamy mouthfeel.
Greenpoint
A hugely popular Manhattan variation, replicated all over the world. Michael McIlroy, Milk & Honey 2005.
Fighting Fuel (N/A)
Strawberry shrub is the star. Refreshing, fruity, slightly tartness and spice from ginger.
Royal Florist (N/A)
Floral via the hibiscus syrup, grounded by the herbal bitterness from Pathfinder.
