What is Homeostasis?
Self regulation of the body.
Whats the difference between a receptor and an effector?
Receptors detect changes, Effectors carry out the responses to counteract the changes.

What is ADH?
ADH increases water re-absorption in the kidney tubules, reduces the amount of water in urine when body needs to conserve water when thirsty or having high salt levels.
Why is maintaining pH important in the body?
Enzyme activity decreases/unable to function at the optimum.
Where are hormones produced?
Glands
What 4 Hormones are in the menstrual cycle.
FSH, LH, Oestrogen, Progesterone
How do Chemical Messages travel around the body?
Through the bloodstream.
How do Electrical Messages travel around the body?
Through the nerves.
