A
Antigen/Antiobdy
CXR
Bronchoscopy
Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR)

How would you treat Pneumocystis Jiruvei Pneumonia ?
A
- Cotrimoxazole
- Pentamidine
- Prophylaxis until CD4 > 200

When do you start Anti-viral therapy ?
A
Start all patients on ART regardless of CD4 count and viral load.

If CD4 is <350 what are the risks ?
A
Risk of developing symptoms

If viral load is not adequately suppressed after 4-6 weeks what should be done ?
A
Put on 3 drug combination therapy
