What was Hitler’s Foreign Policy aims?
To abolish the Treaty of Versailles by taking back the land that Germany lost.
To re-arm Germany by increasing the German army and building an air-force.
To unite German speaking people by uniting with Austria.
To achieve Lebensraum (Living Space) for the German people by expanding East-words.
Communists must be destroyed.
Germans are the master race and must have everything.
Why did Hitler want to abolish the treaty?

The Treaty was a constant reminder to the Germans of their humiliation in WWI. Hitler did not accept that the German army had lost the war, and he was determined to make Germany great again.
Why expand German territory?
This was connected to how he believed that the Aryan race was superior and destined to rule over others.
He believed that he had the right to invade eastern Europe and make the Slavs the German slaves.
Why defeat communism?
Nazis were fascists, the opposite of communists.
Hitler feared they were trying to take over Germany.
He was determined to destroy communism, this meant war with Russia.
Why remove Treaty of Versailles?
To establish a large empire in Eastern Europe for Lebensraum.
To expand to the East and take over Poland and west of USSR.
Stop paying reparations
Regain Saar and re-militarize Rhineland
Make Germany a world power
Create A Greater Germany/ restore German pride
What does ‘Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein, Fuhrer!’ mean?
It means ‘One People, One Empire, One Leader!’
