- Middle muscular layer
-Outer connective tissue layer
What does the Inner mucosa contain?
- Transitional epithelium and lamina propria
Middle muscular layer of ureter contains
- Longitudinal and circular bands of smooth muscle
The outer connective tissue layer contains
continous with firbous renal capsule and peritoneum
Where do peristaltic contractions begin, and sweep?
- Begins at renal pelvis
-Sweep along ureter
What do peristaltic contractions force
urine toward urinary bladder every 30 seconds
Describe the urinary bladder
-Hollow, muscular organ
