Features

A

Dome-shaped, many layers (can be more than 2 cells thick), stereocilia
(Look like King’s Hawaiian Breadrolls)

Pseudostratified Epithelium

Features

A

Coarse, fake stereocilia, Long, columnar-like cells that may not reach surface, touch basement membrane
(Look like Wine glasses stacked next to one another)

A
1 CELL THICK!
Basement membrane at bottom, microvilli/cilia near the lumen
Squamous - stretched out
Cuboidal - 1 cube
Columnar - 1 elongated cell

Stratified Columnar

A

At most 2 cells thick. Apical cell is elongated. Bottom cells are attached to basement membrane. Can have microvilli on apical side.
