Q

If you get a zoomed in image of the aortic valve and mitral valve with endocarditis how do you tell where you are?

A

Because the valves are in fibrous continuity. Mitral will have cords, and if there is endocarditis, the infection will be on top of the valve. Aorta will not have cords and the bottom of the valve will have endocarditis plaques
