The god of obstacles, wisdom and intelligence. He represents the doorkeeper of the universe
How did Ganesh get his elephant head
Parvati was taking a bath so created Ganesh as a doorkeeper to not let anyone in.
Sheba her husband wanted to enter but Ganesh didn’t let him so Sheba cut off his head.
Parvati was sad so ordered Sheba and his men to find the next animal they could find and use its head. The animal was an elephant

The soul (atman) after a death will begin a new life in a new body that could be human, animal or spiritual depending on the karma of the previous actions life. This cycle continues until enough good karma is generated to reach Brahman

When all desires has vanished the person isn’t born again thus the cycle of rebirth comes to an end. A person is then said to have reached liberation (moksha)
