What are the common examination findings?
A
- Palpable lump - Type of hernia dictates where it may or not be.
- If it is indirect it may be in the testicles.
- Can’t get above it

What are the investigations?
A
To finish the exam i would like - to do a full abdominal examination including check for hernias and urinalysis
By the bed - History, obs
May want to do pre-op bloods and consent for surgery.
US of the lump and refer to surgery

A
Conservative - Explain what it is and what it means
Medical - None
Surgical - Repair
