When can you give Hep A immunoglobulin?
Before or within 2 weeks of exposure
Parental Hep?
B,C,D
Travels via contaminated blood or bodily fluids
Acute Hepatitis
B,C,D
Symptoms last less than 6 months and may require no tx
Chronic Hepatitis
B,C,D
Symptoms last longer than 6 months and will require tx
What does chronic hep often turn into?
Cirrhosis of the liver
Liver Cancer
What does Hep D live off of?
Hep B - if there is Hep D there is Hep B

N,V Loss of appetite Fever Pruritus Body aches Dark urine/ Clay/ Jaundice
