A

The cecum (stronger part of the bowel) telescopes into the ileum (weaker part of the bowel)

Intussusception w/ blood vessels?

A

When the ileum telescopes inside the cecum it cause bowel to become ischemic due to kinking of BV - will begin to bleed - mixes w/ blood and mucous
