Tell me about the bloods for hepatitis B viral screen.
A
HBsAg - if you have this, the virus is present.
Anti-HBc IgM - Acutely infected.
Anti-HBc IgG - You’ve had the virus at some point. w/HBs=chronic
Anti-HBs - You’ve beaten it and it won’t come back.
HBeAg - infectivity (similar to viral load)
Vaccination = just Anti-HBs
Acute = HBsAg and IgM
Chronic = HBsAg and IgG
Infected now immune = IgG and Anti-HBs

A
Anti HCV if this is positive then had/got
PCR = active virus
