A pretender to Henry’s throne. He pretended to be Edward, Earl of Warwick but was defeated at the Battle of Stoke where he was turned over to Henry, who gave him a job in the kitchens.
Lambert Simnel
A pretender to Henry’s throne, he claimed to be Richard, Duke of York (one of the princes in the tower). He gained support around Europe, but was later caught and executed by Henry.

An agreement between England and Brittany in which Duchess Anne would pay for a small English army to defend Brittany from the threat coming from France.
Treaty of Redon
The major commercial treaty between England and the Duchy of Burgundy which restored normal trading links between the two.
Intercursus Magnus
A trade agreement between England and Burgundy, this treaty never became fully operative and by the following year, trading relations had been restored.
Intercursus Malus
Treaty with Charles VIII of France, he agreed to withdraw his support for Perkin Warbeck and to pay a pension to Henry to compensate him for the expense of having recruited an army of invasion.
Treaty of Etaples
Treaty with Ferdinand I of Spain, the two monarchies offered mutual protection in the event of attack, they agreed not to harbour rebels or pretenders, and they arranged a marriage alliance between Prince Arthur and Catherine of Aragon.

A peace treaty with James IV of Scotland.

Treaty with Scotland, it was agreed that James IV should marry Princess Margaret, Henry’s eldest daughter.
