Isabelle of Castile died in 1504 and as she and her husband Ferdinand united Castile and Aragon but he had no right to rule without her. And instead it went to their daughter Joanna who was married to Philip of burgundy meaning Castile became part of the Holy Roman Empire.
What was the Magnus Intercursus?
A new trade deal with Philip of burgundy after he washed up on England’s shores while on his way to Spain. It agreed to a better trade deal than the existing one and forced him to give up Edmund de la Pole and Henry pledged his support to Philip (Ferdinand had allies with the french).

He failed to arrange a marriage to Joanna of Castile which was blocked by Ferdinand.
