Reception Theory
Dominant Reading- some of the predominantly female audience will absolutely engage with the representations of the celebrities and consume it willingly.
Negotiated Reading- some of the female audience will consume the media text, but some sectors of the female audience may not (BAME, elderly, gay)
Oppositional Reading- some of the female audience will reject the media text and reject it entirely (people who are not interested in celeb culture)
