the deoxygenated blood goes to the right atrium which contracts and brings it to the right ventricle

right ventricle contracts and blood goes through the pulmonary artery to take blood to lungs

The now oxygenated blood goes from the lungs to the pulmonary vein which returns it to the heart in the left atrium
