What is Asthma?

A

It develops when the bronchial tubes become swollen or inflamed. The muscles around the tubes contract to make the tubes narrow and it causes wheezy breathing.

A

Bronchitis - lining of the bronchiole swells due to irritation by bacteria and smoke.
Smoker’s cough - the airways are lined with ciliated cells, and goblet cells, which produce mucus and clean the air
