Define ecological footprint
A measurement of the area of land or water required to provide a person (or society) with the energy food and resources they consume and the waste they produce.

A measure used by the OECD as an indicator of the flows of international aid. Flows are transfers of resources , either cash or in the form of commodities or services

The practice of sending foreign criminal or terrorist suspects covertly to interrogated in a country where there is less concern about the human rights of terrorist suspects

What is the human development index

Define the development gap
The widening income and prosperity gap between the global “haves” of the developed world and the “have nots” of the developing world, especially the least developed countries

Aid that is delivered on a one to one basis between a donor and a recipient country.
Define multilateral aid
Aid (usually financial, sometimes technically given by donor countries to international aid organisations such a s the world bank or oxfam. These organisational distribute the aid to what they deem to be deserving causes.
