  • Emotional or environmental cues cause expectation of drug or alcohol
  • These cause relapse
  • Cues to be avoided or change association w cues to change health behaviour
    eg. Disulfirim so when drink alcohol feel sick

  • Behaviour reinforced if there is a reward or reduced if their is a punishment
  • But humans driven by short term rewards and avoid short term negative consequences
