Examples: staff wear N95 mask, private room (or with similarly diagnosed patient), patient wears mask if outside of room
What are contact precautions? Give examples.
Precautions that prevent transmission of infections via direct contact
Examples: Private room (or with similarly diagnosed patient), gloves AT ALL TIMES (donned before entering and doffed before exiting), PPE (gowns, eyewear, etc.)
What is the response to fire?
RACE PASS
Rescue and remove patient
Activate alarm
Contain fire (close doors/windows)
Extinguish fire (if possible)
Pull pin from extinguisher
Aim at base of fire
