follwoing the Reporting of injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurences Regulations 2013 (RIDDOR)
what does RIDDOR 2013 say
1.injuries must be reported to HSE within 15 days from the date of accident
2. accident book must be kept for a minimum of 3 years after the injury
3. if an emplyee is absent for more than 3 but less than 7 days, employer does not have to report to HSE but employer must record it internally

starts from the day after the injury
if the person is unable to return to work for over 7 days, employers must report it to HSE under RIDDOR
