Ectopic pregnancy
is a natural death of a fetus before it can develop and survive in its own. Cramping, severe abdominal pain, spotting, and vaginal bleeding are some of the common symptoms of miscarriage.
Miscarriage
is the birth of a baby that does not show any signs of life after 20 weeks of pregnancy.
Stillbirth
NBS is a procedure done to test if the baby has a congenital metabolic disorder that can result in mental retardation or even death. A baby born with a metabolic disorder may look “normal” because early clinical signs and symptoms are not yet visible
Newborn Screening
refers to the first milk that a woman’s breast produce during pregnancy and right after giving birth.
