-bilateral non-throbbing headache
- diagnosis is further supported by the presence of scalp muscle tenderness.

A
- as recurrent episodes of periorbital pain
- may include other clinical features such as lacrimation, rhinorrhoea
-the affected eye becoming bloodshot, to name a few

- usually presents as a generalised headache with fever, photophobia, and neck stiffness.
-Other signs may include a purpuric, non-blanching rash
