A
A mineral found in two thirds of the rocks in the Earth’s crust
Use extensively as a building material from the 1950s, but only recently been removed from use

Where does the risk from asbestos come from?
A
Inhalation of the fibres

What protection should be used to prevent injury from asbestos?
A
The minimum protection should be respiratory protection
But GTSs should be worn when possible
