What is HARP?
A non-funded program which sends enlisted personnel to their hometowns for 12 days beginning on Monday and ending on Friday the following week.
What type of screening must be completed prior to attending HARP duty?
1306/92 sections A and D with strong CO’s endorsement .
Can pregnant service members attend HARP?
If the commanding officer in consultation with the healthcare provider determines they are physically capable.
Blackout dates for HARP duty or as follows:
The week of Thanksgiving the last 2 weeks of December and the 1st week of January during these dates no HARP request will be approved..
When do HARP request , requesting to be taken in conjunction with PCS be submitted ?
6 to 9 months prior to the desired date. To NAVCRUITCOM.
