Computer monitor
A display screen used to provide visual output from a computer, cable box, video camera, VCR or other video generating device.
Printer
a machine for printing text or pictures, especially one linked to a computer.
Jackson doesn’t know what a printer is.
Speaker
An electro-acoustic transducer that converts electrical signals into sounds loud enough to be heard at a distance.
Microphone
An instrument for converting sound waves into electrical energy variations which may then be amplified, transmitted, or recorded.

Keyboard
A panel of keys that operate a computer or typewriter.
Mouse
A device that controls the movement of the cursor or pointer on a display screen. A mouse is a small object you can roll along a hard, flat surface.
Scanner
A device that can read text or illustrations printed on paper and translate the information into a form the computer can use.
Camera
A device for recording visual images in the form of photographs, film, or video signals.
CPU
CPU is the abbreviation for central processing unit. Sometimes referred to simply as the central processor, but more commonly called processor, the CPU is the brains of the computer where most calculations take place. In terms of computing power, the CPU is the most important element of a computer system.
Hard drive
Hard disk drives (also called hard drives or disk drives) is the mechanism that reads and writes data on a hard disk. Hard disk drives (HDDs) for PCs generally have seek times of about 12 milliseconds or less. Many disk drives improve their performance through a technique called caching.
