1-radial & palmar aspect of FDP tendon to the 2nd finger, 2- radial & palmar aspect of FDP tendon to the 3rd finger, 3- ulnar & palmar aspect of FDP tendon to 3rd & radial & palmar aspect of the 4th finger, 4- ulnar & pallmar aspect of FDP tendon to 4th & radial & palmar aspect of the 5th finger
Lumbricals Insertion
base of the proximal phalanx on the palmar aspect of digits 2-5 (flexion of MCP joint), tendons of extensor digitorum communis (for extension of IP joint)
Lumbricals Action
flexion of MCP joint of digits 2-5, extension of proximal IP & DIP joint of digits 2-5, extend IP joints when MCP joint are extended

adjacent sides of two metacarpal bones, 1-adjacent sides of the 1st & 2nd MC, 2- adjacent sides of the 2nd&3rd MC, 3- adjacent sides of the 3rd&4th MC, 4- adjacent sides of the 4th&5th MC
Dorsal Interossei Insertion
base of proximal phalanx, 1- radial side of the proximal phalanx of 2nd, 2- radial side of the proximal phalanx of 3rd, 3-ulnar side of the proximal phalanx of 3rd, 4- ulnar side of the proximal phalanx of the 4th,
Dorsal Interossei Action
abduction of 2,3 & 4 MCP joints (away from midline), assists with flexion of MCP joints & extension of IP joints of 2-4 fingers, first interossei assists with adduction of thumb

1-from base of ulnar & palmar side of 2nd MC,
2-from the radial side of the 4th MC,

dorsal digital expansion,
1- base of proximal phalanx ulnar aspect of 2nd,
2- base of proximal phalanx radial aspect 4th,
3rd - base of proximal phalanx radial aspect of 5th
Palmar Interossei Action
1- adducts 2nd finger,
2- adducts 4th finger,
3- adducts 5th finger, assists in flexion of MCP joints & extension of IP joints of these giners (work with lumbricals)

adducts thumb (gripping objects), aids in opposition (when holding an object), assists in extension of IP joint, gives power to grip
