will be apex dorsal
Shaft:
1. malrotation
2. >10 degrees angulation IF, MF
3. >35 degrees angulation RF, SF
4. shortening >2mm
Neck:
1. >15 degrees angulation RF, MF
2. >20-70 degrees (debatable) RF, SF

Bennetts fracture

A

intra-articular base of thumb metacarpal
distal metacarpal shaft and entire thumb displaced radially and proximally by pull of APL
(reverse bennetts fracture is metacarpal base of the small finger with proximal ulnar displacement due to pull of ECU)
