What are the causes of haematuria

If a patient presents to the GP surgery, what tests can you do there and then?
Urinalysis and arrange US
If the patient is <50 yo what tests would you arrange
Flexible cystoscopy and renal US
If the patient is >50 yo what tests would you arrange
Flexible cystoscopy and CT urogram contrast
If a patient is found to have a solitary mass on the kidneys what is the most likely diagnosis
Papillary TCC
If someone has papillary TCC how long should you follow them up for
10 years via flexible cystoscopy
How do you treat papillary TCC?
Resect - 3 months post resection come for further resection to check its all away
When should PSA be checked in primary care when a patient presents with haematuria
If >50 and greater than 10 years life expectancy
Between 40-50 with a family history or prostate cancer or of African descent
Abnormal prostate on PR exam
Patients less than 30 with macroscopic haematuria Should get what test
US and cystoscopy
Old and haematuria in clinic
CT and flex cystoscopy
