if negative the patient goes back to routine recall

if positive the patient is referred for colposcopy

Smear result: Borderline or mild dyskaryosis with HPV negative. Management?

Patient goes back to routine recall (3 yearly smears)

Smear result: Moderate dyskaryosis. Management?

Answer 4

Consistent with CIN II. Refer for urgent colposcopy (within 2 weeks)

Smear result: Severe dyskaryosis. Management?
