Gustar ( to like something)
Encantar ( to love something –NEVER use for a person)
Always preceded by an indirect object pronoun,which agrees with subject.
Me gusta Te gusta Le gusta Nos gusta Os gusta Les gusta
They always agree with the object and not the subject. So only 2 forms.
Me gusta este perro.
Me gustan estos pantalones.
Me encanta fútbol.
Me encantan estas gafas.
With an infinitive ALWAYS use the singular.
We love to travel.
He likes to drink wine.
They like to walk.
Nos encanta viajar.
Le gusta beber el vino.
Les gusta caminar.
To like or love a thing the most possible amount.
I love to eat.
Encantar
Me encanta comer.
To like something a lot (but not as much as loving it)
I like this statute a lot.
I really like to eat( I like eating a lot-not referring to quantity)
Me gusta (gustan) mucho. "mucho" ,in this case is an adverb describing the degree of liking, so will ALWAYS BE MASCULINE AND SINGULAR).
Me gusta mucho esta estatua.
Me gusta mucho comer.
I quite like something.
Less than to love a thing, and less than to like it a lot .
I quite like to eat.

Always singular since it is an adverb.

To like something less than :
to love it, like it a lot, or quite like it.

Much less than to:
Love it, like it a lot, quite like it, or simply like it.

Since it is an adverb it is always masculine and singular.

An affirmative (positive) response to a statement that someone likes or loves something.
We love croquettes.

In other words, I like what you just said you didn’t like.
