Mines- the mine was fired aa meter into the air before exploding aimed to explode at the man’s genitals

A set of roads through the mountains and jungles which was used to keep the forces in the south supplied

Why was it effective?
As there could be as many as 10 routes to south meaning if one was bombed they could still deliver the supplies
Why did the VC perform hit and run raids?
As they knew it would cause fewer casualties
What sometimes were the bamboo sticks smeared with?
Human or animal excrement so the soldiers wound would be infected if he was not killed
How many soldiers did the Viet Cong have in 1965?
170,00 so they were vastly out numbered by the south but Ho Chi Minh knew they could be defeated with guerrilla tactic just like in China
