Potent vasodilator resulting in:

Dilation of coronary arteries

Dilation of systemic veins resulting in lower pre load

Lowers BP

Reduces coronary spasm

A
Hypovolaemia 
Hypotension <90mmHg systolic
Head trauma
Cerebral haemorrhage 
Viagra (sidenafil) in last 24hrs
Unconsciousness
Known severe aortic / mitral stenosis
