Growth Mindset Flashcards
Growth Mindset: Effort influences success
Team and people with a growth mindset realize that talent alone will not bring success, because they understand that extra effort leads to higher achievements. Extra effort doesn’t only mean working longer hours, never sleeping or making an extra million phone calls. It’s important to understand that extra effort means displaying grit by having the strength to go back to failures, learn from them and trying again in a different way.
Growth Mindset: Growth with time and experience.
Fail vs learn
People with a growth mindset have an underlying belief that their abilities and challenges grow with time and experience. When faced with difficulties don’t think that “I’ve failed” but rather that “I’m learning” and you will do better next time.
Growth Mindset: Seek and Thrive
We have all faced pressures in our lives or careers, and sometimes these pressures lead to self-doubt, a growth mindset with help you deal with this.
