This limits creativity and innovation. Individual behaviour is extremely different from team behaviour.

Set of expectation in a position

When different people have different expectations of a person/group
Role ambiguity?
Lack of clarity, certainty and//or predictability one might have expected

Socially defined position/rank given to group(s)

Pros:
- Brings different perspectives
- Diverse set of skills and strengths
