What makes group fitness so popular?
The sense of community, the fun, the energy, the support, the friendships created, the emotional environment created in the room
As group fitness instructors
We have the responsibility to create a fun, environmental and non intimidating environment where everyone feels welcome.
Research shows 50% of people will drop out of an exercise program, first step is to get them to try and then to stick to a healthy program.
How can we increase chances of success?
Including everyone, setting the tone, taking everyone into account, have email lists, connect thought social media, FB, make little events outside of the studio, come in early and take a chance to get to know your participants, what they like and not, and cater the class to them.
