Forming
- group comes together.
- individuals finding out how they feel about the team and if they will fit in
- strength of individuals compared to others in the group
Storming
Stage of potential conflict where individuals may clash with others as they compete for roles in the team.
Norming
Once conflicts have been resolved, team begins to settle down and cooperate. Group standards accepted and cohesion develops.
Performing
In this stage, all members are now interactive and working towards their collective goals. Team members support each other and roles are understood.
Cohesion
Tendency for individuals within a group to work together to achieve their goals.
Co-action
When others do the task at the same time but separately.
Interaction
When a group works together to produce results.

Social cohesion
Individuals relating to each other to interact in the group
How can social cohesion have a negative effect on the group
Can produce sub-groups or cliques.
Steiner model
Actual productivity = potential productivity - losses due to faulty processes
Faulty processes
The things that go wrong to reduce group outcomes and prevent potential being reached.

Motivational problems
