What is Tethered Cord Syndrome:

A

Common in those with spina bifida, it’s the stretching of the spinal cord.

Causes: disturbed or improper growth of neural tube during fetal development; Presence of spina bifida; Spinal cord trauma

Causes sensation issue in lower extremities and may cause spinal N damage if left untreated
