What are the 5 stages of grief?
Denial
Anger
Bargaining
Depression
Acceptance
Explain denial.
Refusing to believe what has happened
Pretending nothing has changed and that your life is still the same.
Explain anger.
Blaming yourself, others or God for the loss.
Feelings of frustration, anger, irritation or even hatred.
Explain bargaining.
Offering something or trying to make a deal with yourself or others or God to try and change things back to the way they were before.
Often people do not realize they are doing this.
Explain depression.
Feelings of hopelessness and numbness.
Experiencing other symptoms of depression such as withdrawal, lack of motivation and concentration etc.
Explain acceptance.
Accepting what has happened.
Realizing that
Life has to go on.
Less overwhelming and frequent emotions.
