What are the three roles of a hostess working reception?

Answer 1

• Greeter: greets arrivals, manages reservations, seating plan, wait list, DOES NOT leave hostess desk
• Seater: escorts guests to tables, brings dark napkins, takes name and table number of guests in parties who are not there yet, updates OpenTable, assists with hanging coats or hats or umbrellas
• Reception/Reservation manager: controls flow of business, helps open doors for arriving and departing guests
