Athenian politician who moved judicial powers of Areopagus to boule and ekklesia. Murdered by political rivals

Son of Miltiades. Wanted partnership with Sparta. Wanted a moderate democracy with aristocrats and hoplites in power. Delian League general
Kimon
Leader of Athens after Perikles death. Aggressive leader. Convinced the assembly to kill all Mytilene males and enslave women and children. Killed at Amphipolis.
