Provide some regulation of wages and working conditions

1813, allowed market to take control of wages and regulation - increased profits at damages of working class

Combination acts, banking trade unions reduced the barriers to development of industry and allowed entrepreneurial employers more control
What were the negatives of government attitudes towards industrialisation?
Sometimes acts were oppressive to workers which reduced motivation to work, but mainly had positive action on growth of industrialisation
