- direct progression from primary to upper lobe involvement or another presentation

A
HIV patients

What is the progress of extrapulmonary TB?
A
TB spreads to individual organ system; pt usually asymptomatic –> local organ dysfunction –> eventual destruction
TB skin test is usually always +

A
skin test (more senstivie than chest x-ray) followed by culture
