Grammar tip: Adverbs
An adverb is a part of speech that describes or modifies a verb, an adjective, or another adverb. They tell us when, where, why or how something happens or happened.
There are different kinds of adverbs: adverbs of time, place, frequency, degree, certainty and manner. Here are some examples from the video:
“… and how many coffees you’ve taken today.”
(Today is an adverb of time.)
“… in a very easy-to-use way on the screen …”
(Very is an adverb of degree.)
“… so you can easily browse through your previous reports …”
(Easily is an adverb of manner.)

The delivery man is waiting downstairs. (adverb of place)
Matt and Joey rarely watch movies together. (adverb of frequency)
