What is the difference between a fixed mindset and a growth mindset

In a fixed mindset you perceive failures as permanent setbacks, you view challenges as scary and to be avoided, you believe skill levels are fixed and as a result of talent, an is described as giving up easily

In a growth mindset you perceive failure as temporary, you view challenges as exciting growth opportunities, you believe skills can be improved with hard work, and is described as sticking it out and trying hard.
