Is so that they might also experience eternal life.

What does Eternal life mean?
A
Eternal life is the life of God through Jesus Christ. Eternal life does not
mean living forever, as the spirit lives forever, whether sinner or saint.

John 10:10- Jesus came that we might have a restored life, an intimate
life with the Father, by removing the penalty of sin.
1 John 5:11-12- we can only receive eternal life through Jesus Christ.
