A

O: external ilium (between anterior and posterior gluteal lines)
I: greater trochanter or the femur
A: entire muscle abducts.
Anterior: flexion, medial rotation, anterior tilt
Posterior: extension, lateral rotation, posterior tilt
N: superior gluteal
Blood: superior gluteal

A

O: 1) posterior iliac crest. 2) edge of sacrum 3) coccyx
I: gluteal tuberosity and iTB
A; EXTENSION, lateral rotation, abduction (upper 1/3), adduction (lower 2/3); posterior tilt of pelvis.
N: inferior gluteal nerve
Blood: superior and inferior gluteal artery
